GAL now discovers configs across 6 AI coding platforms

Auto-discovery for Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, Windsurf, Gemini, and Codex configurations.

One scan, six platforms

When we launched GAL, we started with Claude Code discovery. Today, we are expanding to cover every major AI coding platform: Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, Gemini Code Assist, and OpenAI Codex.

A single scan of your GitHub organization now finds configuration files for all six platforms. You see everything in one dashboard — which repos have which agents configured, what permissions are set, and where the gaps are.

Why multi-platform matters

Most engineering teams do not standardize on a single AI coding tool. Different developers prefer different tools. Some teams use Cursor for its IDE integration, others prefer Claude Code for its terminal workflow, and others use Copilot because it is already in their GitHub subscription.

Governance cannot be platform-specific. If you only govern one agent, developers using other agents remain ungoverned. GAL solves this by treating all AI coding agents as first-class citizens.
